The requirement
A sporting and fitness equipment supplier needed to clear its existing warehouse the same day and prepare the new site for operation.
Work completed
- Dismantled existing racking and transported it approximately 20 km.
- Repaired and prepared existing frames, installed new beams and reinstalled the system.
- Provided the forklift and scissor lift for the work.
Project configuration
The relocated system comprised 16 bays, 6 m high frames, three beam levels per bay and 2,591 mm beams. Capacity was 2,000 kg per beam level for this configuration.
The outcome
The complete relocation and reinstallation was completed in four hours, leaving the new storage system ready for use.
